The dicotyledonous summer annual common ragweed (Ambrosia artemisiifolia L.) is on the one hand a noxious arable weed and on the other hand an invasive neophyte with a great potential to spread. Various possibilities are known for control of common ragweed in agricultural fields with mechanical and chemical methods.
