ABSTRAK Parenting self-efficacy (PSE) merupakan keyakinan orang tua terhadap kemampuannya dalam mengatur dan melakukan tugas yang berhubungan dengan perawatan bayi baru lahir. Ketidaknyamanan fisik pada perioede postpartum dapat mengurangi kemampuan dan menurunkan keyakinan ibu dalam merawat bayinya. Populasi penelitian meliputi seluruh ibu postpartum normal di BPM Gunarti, subyek penelitian melibatkan 66 orang. Sampel dipilih secara purposive dengan kriteria inklusi eksklusi. analisis data menggunakan Spearman Rank pada tingkat kepercayaan 95%. dukungan sosial memiliki hubungan yang bermakna terhadap peningkatan parenting self-efficacy pada periode awal masa nifas dengan nilai p=0.003 (p<0.05), dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,357 Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara dukungan sosial dengan parenting self-efficacy pada periode awal postpartum. Kata kunci : Dukungan sosial, parenting self-efficacy ABSTRACT Parenting self-efficacy (PSE) is a parent's belief in its ability to manage and perform tasks related to newborn care. Physical discomfort in the postpartum periode may reduce the ability and decrease the mother's confidence in caring for her baby. Adequate social support is an attempt to improve maternal self-efficacy during the early part of the puerperium to know the relationship of social support in improving parenting self-efficacy in the early postpartum period. is an observational study of cross sectional design in which the measurement of independent variables and dependent variables is done in one time. The study population included all normal postpartum mothers at BPM Gunarti, subject to 66 subjects. The sample was chosen purposively with exclusion exclusion criteria. data analysis using Spearman Rank at 95% confidence level. social support has a significant relationship to the increase of parenting self-efficacy in the early period of the puerperium with a value of p = 0.003 (p <0.05), with a correlation coefficient of 0.357 Ho rejected and Ha accepted, so it can be concluded that there is a meaningful relationship between social support with parenting self-efficacy in the early postpartum period.
