Increased Performance in Elite Runners Following Individualized Timing of Sodium Bicarbonate Supplementation

The present study investigated individualized sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3−) supplementation in elite orienteers and its effects on alkalosis and performance in a simulated sprint orienteering competition.
