The novels of Goran Voinović (born 1980) deal with the theme of the memory of the space of Yugoslavia and its disintegration, in a double perspective, social and cultural, of the problematics of the settlers migrated from the former Yugoslav republics to Slovenia («Čefurji raus!» («Southern Scum Go Home!»), 2008), war crimes and the issue of responsibility of the next generation («Jugoslavija, moja deћela» («Yugoslavia, My Fatherland»), 2013), and the problem of remembrance and memories that underpin identity («Figa» («The Fig»), 2016).
