Existing redundancy control algorithms in WSN often have some evident shortcomings such as hypothesis is too much, application backgrounds are not clear, the precision of redundancy control is low and computing complexity is high. In this paper a probabilistic based redundancy control algorithm (PBRCA) is proposed.
