<p class="abstract"><strong>Background:</strong> Acne vulgaris is a chronic inflammatory disease of pilosebaceous unit occurring in adolescent age group. Though not life threatening it can cause physical and psychological scars which can produce social problems in house, school and office. It is a multifactorial disease.
