In the article views the family as a small social group and a carrier of cultural values and norms. The article focuses on the study of socio-perceptual aspects of the marital relationship, in particular, views about future family and spouse in the society. Analyses and research are carried out in this sphere, as well as the results of comparison of views of the future spouse, future family among boys and girls are cited.
