Ptiliidae (Coleoptera) from the Kermadec Islands

The paper deals with four species of Ptiliidae from Raoul Island, Kermadec Islandr. Collection data are presented for the following species. which are described and figured: Ptinella kermad~censir sp.n., P. fallax s p a and Acrotrichis inconspicua (Matth.). A third species of Ptinella, a unique male, probably belonging to the cauclli group, is also recorded but not described. A . inconspicua was known previously only from New Zealand, but some recent Australian records are given. INTRODUCTIOK
