This paper sought to explore the sanitary and hygiene related challenges associated with RDP houses in South Africa through a 2011-2013 case study of RDP houses at Golf Course, Eastern Cape Province. The study used both qualitative and quantitative approaches and therefore took adopted the case study and mini-survey designs.
