A comparative study of the essential oils isolated from the leaf and fruit peel of Cleopatra mandarin (Citrus reshni) was carried out using gas liquid chromatography (GLC) and GLC/mass analysis (MS). Over 140 components were observed in GLC/MS, of which 123 could be identified. 112 compounds were quantitatively analyzed in the leaf oil with linalool as a major component.
