We are developing a bio-implantable glucose sensor based on a CMOS image sensor with glucose-sensitive fluorescent hydrogel. This sensor is expected that it can measure glucose concentration in the longer term than enzyme-based glucose sensors. We experimentally characterized the glucose monitoring capability of this sensor.
