AbstractPeripheral odontogenic fIbroma (POF) is a rare odontogenic tumor. It resembles clinically with other peripheral exophytic lesions like pyogenic granuloma, peripheral ossifying fibroma, and peripheral giant cell granuloma. Hence, needs to be differentiated from such other lesions. Histopathological examination being the only diagnostic approach for peripheral odontogenic fibroma, which can provide a basis for treatment and prognosis evaluation.
