Implementation of Small Target Tracking based on C-STC with multi-core DSP

A novel method by integrating the color information and bilinear interpolation with the traditional fast tracking via spatio-temporal context learning (STC) called as C-STC is presented. Experimental results with variant videos show that the improved algorithm can track the object accurately compared with the traditional STC, Particle Filter (PF) and Multiple Instance Learning (MIL). The results show that the transmission via network promotes the real-time performance, which laying the foundation for communication between the DSP and the gigabit ethernet camera.
