... mayores, acompañadas de lesiones pustulosas, produciendo aumento notable de la nariz. A la histopatología se observó granulomas tuberculoides sin necrosis caseosa central. Su evolución fue muy favorable con resolución completa de sus lesiones, con tratamiento antibacteriano y la disminución de la exposición solar. SUMMARY The granulomatous rosacea is considered a rare clinical variant which is characterized for having inflammatory severe nodules infiltrated with appereance of "apple jelly", sometimes with crusts on its surface and generally is found erythema and blush. We present a 19 years old patient from the Andean province of La Libertad (3125 msnm), that 5 months ago presented erithematous nodules and pustules producing a well know alarming increase in the size of the nose. The pathology studies display tuberculoid granulomas without central caseation necrosis. His evolution was favorable with anti-bacterial treatment and decrease to the solar exposition.
