The author has reviewed a technical perspective of a medical Picture Archiving and Communications System(PACS)in this article. It has been cleared that advances of a computer,an electronics,an optoelectronics and a conlrnunications technology are remarkable,The author sho、 ved the table suggesting advances of these key technologies for these ten years.An excellent plan for the systern with these advanced key technologies will considerably realize the philosophy of PACS in a medical institution.
