Rare decays of B mesons are fundamental tools to probe physics beyond the Standard Model. The LHC experiments are studying these decays thanks to the unprecedented available statistics. We review in this contribution the latest searches for B 0 d,s → µ + µ − decays at the ATLAS, CMS and LHCb experiments and the search for B 0 d,s → µ + µ − µ + µ − decays at LHCb. We discuss the perspectives for some rare B decays in the future of the three experiments and give a summary of the discussion of these topics at this conference.
