Open heavy-flavour production with the ALICE experiment at the LHC
2013
Proceedings of XXI International Workshop on Deep-Inelastic Scattering and Related Subjects — PoS(DIS 2013)
unpublished
The ALICE experiment measured heavy-flavour production in a wide rapidity range in heavy-ion and proton-proton collisions at the LHC. The transverse momentum distributions of D mesons, and of heavy flavours in the semi-electronic and semi-muonic decay channels in pp collisions at 2.76 and 7 TeV will be presented and discussed. The results are compared with perturbative quantum chromodynamics calculations: the predictions agree with data within the theoretical and experimental uncertainties.
