International collaboration and facilitation of learning environment technology

It is a great pleasure and privilege for me to address LETA 1994 on behalf of UNESCO, and to focus on ways in which countries can work together to share their knowledge and expertise on new technologies in education. It is, of course, a great personal pleasure to be back home again with old friends. It is a privilege in that I have been asked to speak particularly on international cooperation in the creation of new learning environments, on what we in UNESCO are doing to encourage collaboration
