Real-time face recognition using feature combination

We present an experimental setup for real-time face identification in a cluttered scene. Color images of people are recorded with a static camera. A rough face detection is performed, and the resulting images are stored in a database. At a future time, a person standing in front of the camera (although against a different background) is identified, if their image was present in the database.
