Monte Carlo Study of Selective Magnetic Dilution in Spinel Structure
2000
Acta Physica Polonica. A
In the present work results of a Monte Carlo study of magnetic ordering and percolation tresholds in selectively diluted spinel structure are discussed. Classical spin model with the Heisenberg type interactions was used with additional cubic anisotropy terms. Three types of selective dilution were studied: separate dilutions of A and Β sublattices and a homogeneous dilution of both sublattices. The results are compared for various degrees of magnetic competition between first and second neighbours interactions.
