A new type of replaceable energy dissipation connectors (REDC) used to connect the beam and column in the fabricated RC frame is presented in this paper. The replaceable energy dissipation connectors are placed at the top and bottom of the beam ends. Through the use of REDCs as the designated energy-dissipation devices, the damage is controlled within the REDCs, which can be replaced easily after the earthquake.
