Conclusions: Gantry position dependent field inhomogeneity in our upgraded MRI-linac prototype can be mitigated by appropriate shimming in combination with a minimum read-out gradient strength of 10mTm -1 to yield a spatial accuracy of 1.0mm.Given the reproducibility of the shim settings, look-up-table-based shimming is feasible for static gantry positions.
