The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is described as the once-in-a-century pandemic of the 21st century (Gates, 2020), with over 6.9 million infections and 400,000 deaths globally to date (WHO, 2020). Governments and Ministries of Health have currently focused on the prevention and treatment of COVID-19 patients, with minimal consideration of other services especially for children with disabilities or chronic illnesses.
