Agostinone-Wilson (2001) described how a community's interests and values can be reflected through the expressions of using craft items and creative activities. This article documents work with three veteran case studies at the Dallas Veteran's Hospital in Texas and how veterans gained a sense of empowerment by making crafts together and how they expressed themselves.
