We report on the performance of Lagrangian perturbation theory up to the second order for the standard cold dark matter (SCDM) and broken scale invariance (BSI) scenarios. We normalize both models to the COBE data, the BSI model serves as an example of models which fit the small-scale power of galaxy surveys. We optimize Lagrangian perturbation solutions by removing small-scale power from the initial data and compare the results with those of numerical simulations.
