Laboratory test results and side effects after feeding with Clinimeal(R) were recorded in 24 patients with head and neck cancer. Weight loss was less than 5%; serum total protein and albumin decreased at first, but then increased. Serum sodium and chlorine decreased, and serum potassium increased. Diarrhea, abdominal fullness and stool occult blood were seen as side effects, but Clinimeal(R) feeding could be continued with appropriate treatment. Stool occult blood, observed in 37. 5% of the
