A new rugose coral species, Lithostrotion (Siphonodendron) hinensis is described ID this paper. It was collected from the Carboniferous Hina limestone in Okayama Prefecture, Southwest Japan. Judging from the paleontological data, the age indicates probably Late Visean, Early Carboniferous.
