One of the solutions to the problem of sustainable economic growth is the development of local production, which will help reduce imports. From this point of view, the organization of import-substituting industries in Uzbekistan and on this basis to ensure economic growth in the country is the basis of economic policy and forward-looking development strategies implemented in our country. Therefore, this article analyzes the approaches to the development of import-substituting industries.
