Recently, underground utilization is being taken attraction. In the construction of underground structures, space safety, affect to the surrounding areas and low cost are needed to be considered. This study is to clarify the ground behavior around tunnel at each excavation step by using a new three dimensional numerical analysis approach, in which the large deformation and the post failure behavior of soft rock masses can be simulated correctly .
