Thus the White Star will not of itself serve to identify the nationality of the troops engaged in a particular operation: all vehicles -except ambulances and Royal Air Force vehicleswhether they be British, Canadian, or American, will share this common symbol, in order to facilitate recognition and to increase efficiency, by establishing uniformity of vehicle marking. It is, therefore, something more than a symbol of freedom: it indeed symbolizes that complete integration of the Allied Armies
