Targeted studies of bats in Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Yugra revealed six species of bats. Animals of this group are spread throughout the region not-evenly, the populations are rarer. The largest species diversity is characteristic of the southern and southwestern part of the region, which is due to the proximity of possible winter sites in the caves of the Northern Ural. In the central and northern part of Yugra there are only ecologically flexible species - the Northern bat and Parti-colored bat.
