related this case: J. M., aged 20, WitIst swimming in the open sea was struck in the face by a wave. He immediately felt a choking sensation, was unable to swim on his breast and made his way to shore by swimming on his back. Some of those on the shore slapped him on the back to displace the false teeth that he told them were choking him; the first slapping on the back produced dyspnoea.
