This article discusses some of the cinematographic representations of the final period of the dictatorship, highlighting the impact of social struggles and the "slow, gradual and safe" transition. A film analysis of the movies Eles Não Usam Black-Tie and Terra Estrangeira will be carried out aiming to demonstrate that they present representations of the period in which they were produced.
