Having enough food and in the right amount throughout the year is a great concern world over. Indigenous crops greatly contribute to food security. Avocado is one source of food that could be used to enhance food security in the famine prone region of Evurore Division of Embu County, Kenya. Despite enhanced effort to promote avocado farming and consumption among households in the division, food insecurity remains real.
