Enteric fever mimics other febrile illnesses. Third generation cephalosporin are increasingly popular in the treatment of typhoid fever because of resistance to previously used first line drugs. Hence, this study was undertaken to evaluate clinical and laboratory profile and determine response to ceftriaxone.
