Movilization of Metacognitive Processes in Teachers' Knowledge Construction

Many studies on metacognitive processes have been carried out, in particular with regard to the stimulation of their development in students. There also have been profuse investigations on the various kinds of knowledge that professors bring into play in teaching. These two lines of research remain isolated, as are those that study the construction of the social and personal epistemology of professors.
