Considerations on binocular mismatching in observation-based diminished reality

In this paper, we introduce novel problems of binocular stereo (binocular mismatching) in observation-based diminished reality. To confirm these problems, we simulated an observation-based diminished reality system using a video see-through headmounted display. We also demonstrated that simple methods can reduce such binocular mismatching.
