Mascil project, or how to improve the interest in engineering studies and professions of primary and secondary school learners

The paper deals with the Mascil (Mathematics and Science for Life) project conducted within the 7th Framework EU Programme. First, the project is introduced with particular emphasis on project outcomes -teaching materials and methodologies for practice in Mathematics and Science teaching, and ways of their dissemination via national multipliers.
