In this paper attempts to make an approach to the recognition of the settlement pattern applied to the "castros" of western Asturias, specifically in the Esva river basin, using a Geographic Information System (GIS) and statistical analysis. It also wants to determine whether there is a relationship between these "castros" with other archaeological sites in the area such as the megalithic tombs and remains of gold mines in the area.
