In recent past, entomological survey has not been carried out in the rural villages of Ramanathapuram district, Tamil Nadu, India. Keeping this in view, larvae and pupae of Aedes mosquitoes from different artificial containers were collected from higher altitudes of the Ramanathapuram, viz.
