This study investigates how a company may maintain a high Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standard through the fourth industrial revolution. Therefore, this study focuses on the impact of firms' R&D capabilities on OSH, which is based on knowledge management strategies. The analysis involves data from 100 U.S. companies in the manufacturing sector. The data describes incident rates, R&D activities, as well as investment in new technologies.
