Genome-scale metabolic network reconstructions are considered a key step in quantifying the genotypephenotype relationship. We present a novel gap-filling approach, MetabolIc Reconstruction via functionAl GEnomics (MIRAGE), which identifies missing network reactions by integrating metabolic flux analysis and functional genomics data.
