Throughout the last several decades, the system of legal protection of children from violence in Serbia has been gradually improving, and its protection mechanisms have been harmonizing with international legal tendencies. This paper analyzes characteristics of the development of family law and criminal law protection of children from violence, as well as the possibilities and pathways for its improvement, both in terms of normative and practical implementation of the existing solutions.
