The purpose of the present work is to make a Land Use and a Vegetation Cover map of Uberlândia in 2002Uberlândia in , and to analyze transformations in land use within the city between 1988Uberlândia in and 2002. The Land Use map was produced using Landsat 7 satellite ETM+ images gotten in October 12, 2002. The maps were produced using softwares like AutoCAD Map and SPRING 4.1.
