Diphoton resonance search with CMS

The results of a search for new physics using high mass diphoton events are exposed. This search employs 3.3 fb −1 of pp collision data collected by the CMS experiment in 2015 at a center-ofmass energy of 13 TeV, targeting spin-0 and spin-2 resonances of mass between 500 and 4500 GeV and relative width up to 5.6 × 10 −2 . The results of the search are then combined with those obtained by the CMS collaboration in similar searches at √ s = 8 TeV.
