EVIDENCE OF CONSTRUCT SIMILARITY IN EXECUTIVE FUNCTIONS AND FLUID REASONING ABILITIES

Executive Functions and Fluid Reasoning are both considered to be core aspects of intelligence and mediated by frontal lobe functioning. However, both constructs considerably overlap, and the distinction between the two constructs is unclear. For this study, three measures of Executive Functions and three measures of Fluid Reasoning were administered to a group of participants.
