ably formed at the first attack, others of recent origin. The right tube was found ruptured, as seen in the specimen. It was feared she would not survive the operation ; but her vital forces proved to be unusually good. Digitalis was administered by the mouth us soon ¡is she could take it. She slept quite well that night. Some pelvic inflammatory process followed the operation, and prolonged the convalescence; but she finally recovered, and is at the present time in perfect health.
