16pCB-6 Electronic structure of the outermost layer in multilayer silicene grown on Ag(111)
Silicene, Si honeycomb lattice, can be grown on Ag (111). Single layer silicene strongly hybridizes with the Ag(111) substrate and breaks its symmetry to obtain Dirac fermions characteristics [1]. Multilayer silicene can be a good candidate for obtaining Dirac fermions characteristics because the interaction between silicene layers should be weaker than that between silicene and the metal substrate. Growth of multilayer silicene on Ag(111) has also been reported in many studies [2, 3]. Several
