Sociodemographic relationship with the level of community participation on preventing the spread of COVID-19

Efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19 are a shared responsibility. Community participation is very much needed in helping the government implement health protocols. Without community participation, the goal of implementing COVID-19 will not be achieved. The purpose of this study was to analyze the sociodemographic relationship with the level of community participation in preventing the spread of COVID-19 in the Work Area of ??the Biru Health Center, Bone Regency. more » ... l observational design with a Cross-Sectional approach. The sampling technique using the simple random sampling method was carried out randomly with a sample of 397 respondents using the Slovin formula. Research results there is a significant relationship between the level of education and workers with the level of community participation in preventing the spread of COVID-19. Furthermore, there is no significant relationship between gender and age with the level of community participation in preventing the spread of COVID-19. The level of community participation can be categorized as quite good and it is recommended that people continue to carry out physical distancing, self-quarantine, and self-isolation as well as increase understanding and concern in preventing the spread of COVID-19.
