For the better part of the past 20 years composite materials have been used to repair damaged piping and pressurized components in plants, refineries, and pipelines. The use of composite materials has been accompanied by comprehensive research programs focused on the development and assessment of using composite technology for restoring integrity to damaged piping and pressurized components.
